Professional Masters Program

The Professional Master's Program (http://sloan-pmp.rice.edu/) is intended for students pursuing employment in industry after graduation and comprises coursework in the core science, business practice, communication skills, and policy and ethics, and an industry internship experience. The focus of these programs is on career advancement, not original research, and each includes an industry internship as part of the program.

The Earth Science Dept. participates in two tracks of the Professional MS program in the Wiess School of Natural Science: Subsurface Geoscience (http://www.profms.rice.edu/subgeo.aspx?id=62), and Environmental Analysis and Decision Making (http://www.profms.rice.edu/enviroanalysis.aspx?id=66).
