Here we are at Goldy Music Shop in Vancouver on West Broadway, where the owner has a Shiba named Goldy. Goldy is a 6 year-old female that is the nicest dog you could ever meet. I had met her once before about a year ago, and she is the main reason I got Rocky.

Here Rocky is meeting Goldy (on the right) and she is a little bit stand-offish, whereas Rocky is trying to initiate some playing by barking. This is the first Shiba Rocky has met since leaving his own family. The resemblance is amazing in this photo, although in person you can easily tell them apart - Goldy is a little on the chubby side.

Moments later Goldy goes into a full show of fierceness, but it doesn't scare Rocky for one second, as he just wants to play. Note the rather ugly display of teeth by Goldy in the inset blowup. In the end, over the course of their 10-minute meeting, they never did see eye-to-eye. That's a shame.

Rocky is enjoying his first t-bone courtesy of Denny's. Taken in the Motel 6 in Sea-Tac waiting for a flight back home the next day, delayed 2 days by the flooding in Houston. Like Goldy, Rocky has some nice teeth to show off when he wants to.
