I am interested
in the physical and chemical processes of Earth and other planetary
interiors. More specifically, my research focusses on the role
of magma generation processes in the evolution of the Earth
and planets and the differentiation of terrestrial planets into
crust, mantle, and metallic core. My main tool of research is
high pressure, high temperature laboratory experiments, which
can simulate conditions to several hundred kilometers deep inside
the Earth.
